We get asked from time to time "how strong is the plastic?"
so here is the answer. The .090 plastic that is used to make
the kit bodies is extremely strong but lightweight so you're
not carrying around a ton of extra weight during the game.
We also fill the buttstocks and most of the other parts like
the front grips, 50 round drum, vertical grips etc, with liquid
foam to add more durability to the kit parts. The kits are
made to "dress up" your marker with no permanent changes
so that you can add and remove the kits, as needed for the
type of game your playing in at the time. This is why we
have chosen to make the kits from plastic and not real gun
parts, it saves you money and makes it so if you don't want
to use the kit for a certain game you can just take it off, try
that with some of the replica markers out there, you can't.
DIRECT HITS ON KIT
This short film is to show that the .090 plastic can take
multiple direct hits without causing any damage. This is the
right side of a M41A Pulse rifle kit fresh off the
vacuum-forming table. The marker used was a Tippmann
A5 firing at 265fps in full auto and from a distince of 15
feet. RealPlayer or QuickTime format.
Still unsure if the plastic is durable enough?
We have parts that get removed from the kits while fitting in
the paintball markers that can be sent out so you can see
and feel just how durable the .090 HIP is. Cost is just
shipping and that will be credited towards the purchase of
any of the paintball marker kits after the sample has been
requested. Just email us with your zip code and we will give
you the exact shipping amount to receive the kit part.
