They are easy to assemble. Just pull out of the box and start by trimming any excess with a
blade (a box cutter or exacto) until it is flush on the seam side. I have noticed it is only in
spots that this is required.
Out of the box...
AND... be sure to trim the lip off the barrel where you insert the 1.5" diameter pipe. I did all my
gluing on the front section with the pipe in place.
Then CA Glue around the seam line. You can use accelerant or not. Just make sure the
coupling and pipe are in theirs position tightly.
Once trimmed and glued, insert pipe into short 1.5" inch coupling inside of receiver. You have
a gun! But it needs refinement.
There will be small gaps, but if you want it to look really good, use no-mix bondo glaze.
Get some surgical gloves or finger covers...
Sand with sandpaper or a sanding sponge - medium grit.
Then prime and paint.
Options...
Semi-gloss black
Charcoal metallic (Rustoleum is more black & flat, Krylon is more grey and shiny)
Then use either a Silver Sharpie or Silver Leafing pen to cover small imperfections.

Here is a sequence of how to do it on a Saturday...
2-3 hours is all you need.
1) Trim and glue and let that dry.
2) Then bondo the seams and let that dry.
3) Sand well and wipe off dust, then prime and and let that dry (30 minutes).
4) Then paint with black or charcoal and let that dry.
5) Then hide imperfections with a silver paint pen and let that dry.
6) Then put the mid-section in a trash bag, cut a small slit and reveal the scope, then use
Blue tape cover the scope connecting brace and to seal the rest of the gun off from overspray
and give the scope a good coat of silver. Remove from bag when dry.
7) Take a brush with a small amount of Minwax wood stain and "tarnish" the scope with dry
brushing.
OPTIONAL LAST STEP - Clear coat gloss or dull coat.
DO NOT TRIM THE LIP ON THE RECEIVER. That holds the coupling in place. Trim out the
trigger area.
and rub it into the seam like so...
